In 2019 we will be conducting a number of training workshops across the state of Texas. Please leave your contact information if you would be interested in attending one of these workshops.
A collaboration between IT’S TIME TEXAS, SNAP-Ed, and regional constituents and health leaders across the state, the Building Healthier Communities Workshop Series is designed to provide those who serve Texas Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) eligible populations with resources, support, and education to tackle challenges like obesity, poor nutrition, and physical inactivity within their communities.
These free one-day workshops will take place in three regions of Texas. Workshops will be led by expert facilitators and will empower those looking to improve health in their school, workplace, or community to lead effective collaborations while aligning efforts to develop purposeful and actionable plans.
